What we save
The game stores an anonymous profile, a display name, your leaderboard visibility choice, and the numbers, badges, points and dates from your rolls, plus which public rolls you appreciate. It does not ask for an email address, password, real name or payment details.
One essential cookie
A cookie named rngdle_player links this browser to your profile. It contains a random token, expires after one year, and is inaccessible to page scripts. The server stores a hash of that token. Clearing the cookie removes your access to that profile; it does not delete the server records.
A new browser gets a different profile. There is currently no account recovery or cross-device sync, so keep your cookie if you want to keep playing with the same collection.
What other players see
Public profiles can appear in today’s highlights, the leaderboard, shared roll pages and a public collection page with their display name, rolls, badges, titles and luck points. Appreciation counts are public; the list of people who appreciated a roll is not published. The default name is a random alias. You can edit your alias or switch off public visibility in Your stats. Changing visibility takes effect immediately on new public requests. Pages already open may retain previously loaded information until refreshed.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand visits and how people use the website. The Google tag may use analytics cookies and send information about page views, browser and device characteristics, and interactions to Google. Deleting your game profile does not delete information already processed by Google Analytics. Fonts are served with the site. The hosting provider may process technical request information, such as IP addresses and access logs, to deliver and protect the website.
Retention and control
Game records stay available until you delete your profile or the service is retired. Use the control below to delete your profile and associated rolls and appreciations from the active game database. Routine infrastructure backups, if configured by the host, may retain earlier copies until they expire.
